Bio

Diego first studied graphic design at the Universidad Privada Boliviana (UPB), in his hometown Cochabamba, Bolivia.

After completing his degree, he decided to pursue a career in what he discovered was his passion, photography.

In 2009 he left Bolivia to begin his photography studies in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
During his first year there, he took a wide variety of photography courses and workshops. These included specializations in lighting, portrait, retouching, fashion, Art and Artistic Nude to name some

After this first year of training, he realized that he loved working in beauty and fashion. He spent 2010 developing this interest and completed a yearlong degree in Fashion Photography as well as acquiring valuable experience working with local photographers as an assistant. At the end of that year two of his photos were shown at the Bs. As. Fashion Week.

In 2011 he went back to Cochabamba to start working as a full time photographer until 2015 when he went back to Bs. As. for a month in order to complete intensive courses on Fashion Styling and Image consulting.

Right after that he moved to the neighboring city of Santa Cruz where currently resides and Works as a full time photographer.

During this time he has worked with various known magazines, designers and models, as well as different architects, companies, trade shows and fashion shows in both cities.

Amongst others, Radisson Hotel chose him to take all the photos that they use as decoration for each and every one of their rooms as well as their common areas.

Una vez terminada su carrera decidió especializarse en lo que descubrió que era su verdadera pasión, la Fotografía.

El año 2009 se fue de Bolivia para comenzar sus estudios en Fotografía en Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Durante este primer año en Bs. As. el tomo una variedad de cursos y talleres. Estos incluían especializaciones en iluminación, retrato, retoque digital, arte, desnudo artístico y fotografía de moda entre otros.

En ese tiempo descubrió que lo que más le gustaba era trabajar en el área de la moda y la belleza, por lo cual El 2010 desarrolló este interés y completo un curso anual de “Especialización en Fotografía de Moda” además de trabajar como asistente para fotógrafos locales. Al final de ese año dos de sus fotografías fueron publicadas en el
Bs. As. Fashion Week.

El 2011 regresó a Cochabamba donde empezó a trabajar como fotógrafo a tiempo completo hasta el 2015, año en que reforzó sus conocimientos con cursos intensivos de Producción de Moda y Asesoramiento de Imagen también en Bs. As. antes de mudarse a la ciudad de Santa Cruz.
Desde ese año reside y ejerce la Fotografía a tiempo completo en esta ciudad.
En estos años ha trabajado con varias revistas conocidas, diseñadores y modelos, así como también con arquitectos, fábricas y empresas en ambas ciudades; entre otros trabajos fue contratado por el Hotel Radisson para hacer todas las fotos que usan como decoración de sus habitaciones así como de las áreas comunes.
